Pedestrian Killed Crossing Street

By: Admin

A 56 year old man was killed crossing a street in Deltona. He was not in a designated crosswalk and the 64 year old driver could not react quickly enough to avoid the accident. Florida law requires you to use a designated crosswalk to cross any street. If there is no stripes designating a crosswalk, you go at a 90 degree angle crossing at the corner of two streets. Otherwise you could be found to be 100 percent at fault. We all see people crossing streets in the middle of the block and could be at fault if they get hit by a car. Cross streets with caution at the proper places and watch out for drivers who run red lights.

I do not think I can find enough proper words to accurately convey my eternal gratitude for all your hard work, kindness and understanding during my daughters workers’ compensation case.  “Thank You” seems like it is not enough to convey my respect and appreciation I have for you. Thanks for having such a great staff, which shows why you all are the best.

Mr. Hilado is an excellent lawyer; he knows and dominates his profession very well. From the moment of my first consultation until favorably presented and won my case, he always kept me up to date throughout the whole process. I personally, as well as my family, we are all grateful for his professionalism and representation, and we recommend his legal services.
